Sad, but fact: no one is immune to psoriasis. At some point, the body "fails" - and unpleasant flaky plaques and spots appear on the skin. Especially if you have a genetic predisposition to the disease. The disease is not fatal, but it causes a lot of aesthetic discomfort - you have to constantly think about how to dress to hide skin imperfections. What can we say about the complications in the personal lives of patients with psoriasis!
Most commonly, chronic dermatitis, as well as psoriasis, can be called an "attack" on the knee and elbow, scalp, and back.
Many methods have been developed and used in modern medicine to treat psoriasis, but none provide a complete cure for this insidious disease. In fact, all drugs today provide only a more or less long-term remission phase for the disease. Achieving long-term, even lifelong remission is not uncommon. In these cases, folk remedies for the treatment of psoriasis play a very important role.
Herbal tea for psoriasis
The treatment of psoriasis with herbs plays an important role in therapeutic interventions for the treatment of psoriasis rashes. Herbs for the treatment of psoriasis help well and lead to many years of remission, and are virtually harmless, unlike pharmaceuticals.
Dry grass wild rosemary (two spoons), centaury (two spoons), tricolor violets (one and a half spoons), incense herb (one spoon) and wild hoof (three and a half spoons) boil in boiling water, insist for an hour. Take the resulting infusion in small doses throughout the day.
Please note: if you have problems with your cardiovascular system, the hoof should be "discarded" from the recipe.
Sophora flowers against psoriasis
Pour about 75 grams of dried Sophora flowers with good quality vodka in about one and a half to two glasses. Infuse in a place protected from light for at least a month. When done, take your medicine with teaspoons - three times a day shortly before a meal.
You can make a non-alcoholic version of the tincture: cook half a glass of dried flowers or sophora fruit in a thermos in the evening and stick to it overnight.
Herbal infusion of corn stigmas against psoriasis
Oral administration of herbs allows the body to be cleansed from the inside, increasing immunity. This type of use of plants means making decoctions, tinctures and teas.
Ingestion of this collection will help reduce the severity of the symptoms of psoriasis, the peeling will gradually disappear.
For infusion of dry herbs - fiber, elecampane root, cranberry leaf, horseradish - chop. Add a tablespoon of black elderflower flowers and a corn stamp. Pour hot water, bring to a boil and remove from the heat. Infuse for about an hour, take with half a glass, regardless of meals. The duration of treatment is not less than one month.
Lotions made from yarrow for psoriasis
Make a strong yarrow decoction: one glass of dry ingredient for three glasses of boiling water. Let stand for an hour and a half. Dampen gauze swabs in the decoction and apply to areas affected by plaques.
Folk ointments for psoriasis
- A packet of butter, half a glass of vinegar essence, a raw chicken egg, swirl and grind, "forget" for a week in the fridge. Then lubricate the affected areas of skin daily with psoriasis. Once the homemade ointment is absorbed, smear the plaques with salicylic ointment.
- The roots of celandine stick to alcohol for five to seven days: a glass of well-ground vegetable raw material for a glass and a half of alcohol. Mix the resulting infusion with half a glass of fish oil or melted lard. Use an ointment to treat psoriasis plaques.
- The bark of the oak (about 150 grams) is ground to a powder. Pour the chamomile (two tablespoons of inflorescence) into a water bath dissolved in butter (250 grams), boil in oil for five minutes on low heat. Then add oak powder and keep on the fire for another 15 minutes. The hot mass is filtered off. Store the ointment in the refrigerator.
- Mix three raw egg whites with wood ash obtained by burning oak bark and rosehip branches. Add a teaspoon of celandine. And - the highlight of the recipe - a tablespoon of fat. Mix all ingredients well and stick to the room for two weeks. Apply the ointment three to four times a day to the skin affected by dermatitis.
- Grind the peel from 15 nuts, pour a glass of alcohol and leave for a week. Then pour the burnt oak bark ash into the infusion, add a spoonful of fresh honey. Stir - and after three days the ointment is ready. Store in a refrigerator in an opaque container.
- Take in the same amount of fat: lard, goose fat, olive oil (unrefined). Cut the lard and goose fat into a pan and melt over low heat. Pour a tablespoon of dry camphor and add a sublimate the size of a barley grain. Pour in the olive oil, mix and heat slightly. Transfer the ointment to an opaque glass jar and store in a cool place. Apply plaques once or twice a day.
Herbal baths based on celandine, chamomile, oak bark, fiber help relieve the condition during the worsening of psoriasis. The herbal raw materials required for the preparation of therapeutic baths can be taken in any dose and combination, pre-boiled and boiled with boiling water.
