The main stages of psoriasis

Psoriasis, as well as all other types of inflammatory skin, have its own stages of development. When diagnosing the disease, the doctor necessarily takes into account not only the variety of the disease, its form, severity and causes, but also the stage of development. For an experienced specialist, it is not difficult to designate the psoriasis phase, as each is different between specific symptoms that are almost impossible to disturb.Depending on the manifestations of the disease, the patient is prescribed, which is aimed at reducing external symptoms and alleviating and eliminating factors that cause the disease.

The beginning of illness

Despite the fact that the methods, types and sections of the disease have not been found to be fully studied, as the forms, types and sections of the disease have been examined quite well. Thus, during the development and course of the disease, three main stages are different: initial or progressive, standing and "fading", regressive.

The onset or exacerbation of the disease, that is, the progressive phase, the appearance of tumors on the skin surface in the form of a rash.At the same time, the elements of the rash (dot, pointed, lens) are prone to peripheral growth. When spreading in healthy areas of the skin, small rashes form clearly defined round or oval psoriatic plaques.

At the stage of the disease progression, the psoriatic plaques were painted bright pink or red and there is no specific peeling crust of injuries. The thickened edges of the focus of the defeat are not covered with whitish scales.

In the progressive stage of psoriasis, the patient experiences itching, a mild burning sensation in the area of skin lesions, a general mild feeling. In addition to any contact with clothing and combing areas, new papular rashes occur.

Enhancement

After 1-4 weeks, the second stage of the disease development takes place. The aggravation process is weakened, the color of the psoriatic plaques is less intense, the old rashes are absorbed, and the new rashes stop.

The healing of papules

The healing of the papules is peripheral, that is, from the center to the edges, which determines the characteristic ring shape of the plaques. In the stationary section, the surface of the injuries is completely covered with a typical whitish scaly bark.

In the regressive stage of psoriasis, all focus of the lesion is gradually completely dissolved in the stage of the disease and the remission period, the color of the plaques becomes almost indistinguishable from the color of the healthy skin, the epidermis peeling decreases significantly, the burning and itching. The so -called "Voronov collar" appears around the focus - a ring of keratinized, dense skin layers. The skin is discolored along the periphery of all rashes. The regression stage of the disease can last for a long time, sometimes for several months due to intensive proper treatment. Then psoriasis retreats completely and, in the most common places of the disease (elbows, knees, stomachs, buttocks), leaving insignificant plaques on the body.

It is the responsibility of a person with psoriasis to keep the disease in the remission stage.Checking all aspects of life and prevention of disease requires the most stringent - it's not a secret. But this is the only way to achieve positive treatment results, record them and continue normal existence in society.
